📋How to Activate Amiibo
Unlock the Amiibo Ability
Complete at least one shrine on the Great Sky Island (about 30 minutes into the game). Note: Some rewards only spawn after leaving the Great Sky Island.
Enable in Settings
Press the (+) Button → Navigate to the System tab (the gear icon) → Select Options → Set amiibo to "Use amiibo."
Activate Ability
Hold the L Button to open the Ability Wheel. Use the Right Stick to select the amiibo icon.
Ready to Scan
Link will strike a pose, and a white glowing circle will appear on the ground. Place your amiibo figure on the NFC touchpoint (right Joy-Con or Pro Controller) to scan and receive rewards.
